I have a high energy high drive doberman and he loves elite the salmon and herring blend, he has very little gas or stomach issues on this compared to purina. 3 cups a day seems to be just the right amount to food to keep him going and in the proper shape. His coat is shiney and dandruff free. This is seriously the best food on the market worth every penny
My German Shepard devourers this. He isn't very food motivated but this stuff gets him going and he licks the bowl clean. Seamless transition from his puppy food and he is now a top tier producer of high quality ****. Got him (~80 lbs.) on 3 cups a day which for his activity level seems to be perfect. Treat your dog to this stuff, it's awesome.
I had my GSD on a raw diet (which I still strongly believe in for most dogs) but her reception was tepid at best. She also has food sensitivity to a couple of the staples of a raw diet so I switched her to the Salmon and Herring Elite Blend and she loves it! The patches where she had scratched off her fur due to her sensitivities have completed cleared up and her weight is ideal, not to mention she eats her meals with gusto now. Truly a remarkable difference.
It took me a while to be able to write this review because I had to learn how to speak Doberman so I could get their opinions. My two Dobies, Pesto and Kaiser, absolutely love this food. I was feeding them a dry food that was very similar with regards to ingredients and nutritional ratio. Fairly reputable name brand. I did have to put warm water on that food. While they did eat it, Kaiser would have to eat at a specific time, and he had to have canned food with his dry food, or else no go. This food, they eat it dry, and they can’t wait for me to put their bowls down to start eating. And…And…They both told me their deadlift went from, well they’re dogs so they didn’t really have a deadlift, but their deadlift went from nothing to over 8000lbs. Take THAT Jocko White Tea. As a side note, I’ve found most dog food smells like ****. I think Team Dog food smells like coffee. May just explore that…
